Common Questions
What does a consultation call involve?
Just an initial conversation, around 15 minutes, to see what you are looking for, how I can help, and to see what are best plan is moving forward.
Do we have to meet in person?
Thanks to technology, no we do not! If you are in my area, we can absolutely meet up in person, but I like that I can offer my services to anyone, regardless of where you live through Zoom calls, phone calls, or even email if you prefer that avenue.
Any other services you offer?
My coaching involves many aspects, including ideas for meals, workout routines, and other recommendations for ways to improve your life. I am also working on some online courses that will be available soon, so you can learn more about specific topics that you may want to dive deeper into.
Can you order tests if I need them?
I myself cannot order tests, but if I feel like you would benefit from a specific test, I have a link I can share where you can order the test yourself through a third party service.
Will you be able to help in other areas of my life?
I may not be an expert in every area you need guidance in, but health is so much more than food, and we will dive into other areas of your life as well, such as your hobbies, goals, habits, etc.
How long will it take to see results?
There is no right or wrong answer for this question. Some of it will be up to you and your dedication to change, some of it will depend on what your goals are. I do believe that once you start making serious changes, you will see results, however small, and that will encourage you to keep putting in the work. We can work together briefly, or over the course of several months if you want the continued accountability.
Why would I come to you over a healthcare professional?
This is a decision you have to make for yourself, and I can work with you in sync with whatever professionals you may already be seeing. I do believe that our current healthcare system is severely lacking in a lot of areas, and seeing someone that may address other areas of your health can be very helpful. This in no way replaces a doctor’s opinion, but I do know that all of the information you can obtain in order to improve your health is all beneficial. Sometimes healthcare professionals tend to focus on symptoms, while I strive to find the root cause of a problem, without the financial backing of any sort of pharmaceutical company.
What are your credentials?
I am a certified Functional Nutritional Therapist through the Nutritional Therapy Association, with a focus on holistic health by focusing on the foundations to find the root cause of your health issues.
